CBD lotion preparation

CBD lotions are the lightest type of topical, containing approximately 75% water. As a result, they are easier to apply and absorb more quickly into the skin. This makes them an excellent choice if you want to rapidly and conveniently apply your Lavender Hand Cream to wider portions of the body.

Unless your skin is really dry, Lavender Hand Creams are often chosen for any form of facial skincare because they are the least oily when applied.

The type of oil base you use may alter the texture of your CBD lotion, so when you first start creating your own at home, you may want to experiment with a few different types of oil. If you want a lighter consistency, use almond, sunflower, or apricot oil; if you want a little denser texture, choose a heavier oil base like argon, jojoba, or coconut oil.

If you wish to add more CBD oil to your lotion to make it stronger, you may need to lower the amount of oil base you use (very slightly) to accommodate it.
